After hearing about this restaurant from a friend we decided to take a drive and give it a try. The restaurant is a bit different than most as they have a set menu served boarding house style. It starts off with fried chicken and chicken and dumplings. That is followed up with 3 sides dishes, ours were blackeye peas, greens and mashed potatoes with gravy. There is also serve yourself cole slaw, picked beets and picked watermelon rind. The meal includes your drink. The food was very good and is all you can eat, just ask for more if you need anything. The star of the day was the fried chicken. It was very moist with a light breading and just the right seasoning.

The price was $12.99 per person and a dollar off if over 60 years old. That seems a little pricey considering there is no choice but since it is all you can eat that makes up for it. It's not a place I would frequent on a regular basis but it is worth a trip when I want something different.
